A Letter To Our Drivers
Thank you for considering joining Transport Distribution Company's team of professionals. Your
contributions to our team are valuable and we will treat you with the respect you deserve. We continually strive to improve our services to customers, with the help and suggestions from professionals such as yourself. TDC has grown and serves a wide spectrum of shippers in the mid-section of the United States.After a brief orientation, you will become a valued team member. This is not the end of our efforts to help you adjust and be productive in our system. Your driver manager and safety personnel will continue to be available to provide information and assistance. I highly recommend you visit frequently with safety retention personnel in Joplin, especially during your first sixty to ninety days.
Management is interested in your success and satisfaction and always available to you, if we can help or if you have ideas on how we can improve our operations.
We require you to be safe at ALL times, nothing is more important, your reputation and safety should not be compromised for any reason. Unsafe performance will NOT be tolerated.
TDC operates both dry vans, we are a short to moderate length haul carrier with terminals in Kansas City, Kansas, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and our home terminal in Joplin, Missouri. We WILL get you home on weekends. Living near one of our terminal cities helps us get you home.
TDC rewards its professionals with fuel, performance and safety bonuses. We hold regular safety meetings for your input, as well as keeping you abreast of new developments and TDC's safety progress.
